Shanghai! Disneyland and exploring

One of the perks of working for Disney is the fact that we got to go to Disneyland Shanghai before it opened, we got to try the attractions and some of the awesome rides. A major difference between Chinese and Americans is the amount of attractions vs. rides. Hong Kong Disneyland doesn't have a ton of rides. Shanghai Disneyland definitely had more but still nowhere near what we have in America. Not to say it wasn't still freaking amazing and unreal. Also, I'm sooo glad I got to go when the lines were shorter... The tron ride was the coolest coaster I've been on. The CGI in the Pirates of the Caribbean was unreal (haha CGI...unreal...get it? I'm funny...). There was a Seven Dwarfs Roller Coaster that was lots of fun. Anyways, these are the pictures I remembered to take!

Biggest Disney Castle built to d

Tomorrowland! That's where my future husband is! I didn't get to see Buzz, though.

I did, however, get to see this guy throughout the day!
<This little girl was AWESOME. She gave Vader some serious 'tude.

The Tron ride was epic, even the walk up to the ride was awesome

You can see the people on the bikes in this one ^^.

The lightcycles were so cool!

<3 Thor!

<3 Star Lord! (If you don't know what this is from, we can't be friends)

Marvel Superheroes!

Treasure Cove!

Alice in Wonderland Maze to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party!

I only took a couple pictures of inside the Castle, so here's what I got. Mostly I took the Frozen one for Elsa.

Also, parade float pictures were for Elsa.

And Mulan is bad ass.

Spider Man and none of us are worthy... the Sword is still in the Stone!

It is really a shame I only got to spend two days in Shanghai, it is a beautiful city with lots of rich culture, history, and diversity. On our second day there, we visited the Jing'an Temple. It was gorgeous. It was really neat to see the difference between temples in Guangzhou and "up north" in Shanghai.

If you throw a coin and make it into the urn (on the left) it is supposed to be good luck. I tried, I failed miserably. No good luck for me. Haha

If you notice the "water" mark look on this photo -->
It only happened with that photo, if showed up at a certain angle trying to take this picture, but if I took a picture of anything else, any other angle it wouldn't show up. So, even though it isn't super clear, I kept the picture.

The picture on the right is the outside view of the window I got the strange picture of. So intricate!
Rawr!

Super neat temple. Brianne had spent time in Shanghai before coming to Guangzhou so she knew her way around which made it easy for us to see this stuff!

They had noodles hanging from the ceiling where we had lunch. I thought it was neat.

Dunkin Donuts had donuts with Pork Floss. Because #China.

This Rhino was outside Dunkin Donuts

Pearl Tower, and The Globes, I especially liked the "HELLO"

The Bund, I, unfortunately, wore the wrong shoes, so my feet were, unfortunately, killing me at this point so I did not walk through the tunnel. BOOOOO bad shoes, BOOOOOO!

I was also lucky enough to get to see a friend from back home on this trip, he took me took an awesome Italian restaurant and a local brewery called Liquid Laundry. It was super neat and good to see a friendly face in such a chaotic, change of pace life!
